BTW just as an FYI, Softlayer offers two cPanel partitioning schemes as follows... /4 GB /swap04 GB /boot0.25 GB /tmp2 GB /var25 GB /usr25 GB /homeGrow 191.8 GB AND /40 GB /swap04 GB /boot0.25 GB /tmp2 GB /var16 GB /usr16 GB /homeGrow 1 GB What are the advantages/disadvantages of each and which is the recommended scheme?

  Actually, they have two Partition Templates with the name cPanel in the template title. You don't have to select either one. RedHat docs might be helpful here as well: Recommended Partitioning Scheme
