How do I set name servers to poin to IP's in WHM, No Root Access
Hi there folks, I would like to set private name servers in WHM 11.34.2 (build 8) to work with accounts I add.
There is Basic Cpanel and WHM Setup, however how do I point at the IP addresses that are required or does this happen automatically. Do I need to get my Domain Registrar to create Private Name Servers for the above.
There is also zamfoo, I have tried this in the past but it doubles up the name servers when you trace the dns and it looks like this
ns1.domain.com.domain..com
ns2.domain.com.domain.com
and I really don't need this happening.
How to sort would be much appreciated as I get very frustrated trying to sort it out.
regards
Rick

Hi kiwibro111, It's very simple, You need to create the childname servers in domain control panel, like ns1.domain.com 192.168.0.115 ns2.domain.com 192.168.0.116 Then update the same to WHM basic setup, that's it. 0 -
