Inserting tags into the body of an autoresponder when HTML is checked

I can't seem to get this to work. If I select the HTML option for the body of an autoresponder, the tag code is sent as plain text. i.e. Hi %from% I just wanted to thank you for visiting our website. How can I get it to insert the value of the tag? Any help appreciated. Thanks Kerry

  Hello :) When configuring an auto responder, you can use the following tags to insert information into the response email: %subject% - The subject of the message sent to the auto responder. %from% - The name of the sender of the message received by the auto responder, if available. %email% - The incoming email sender's address.

  When configuring the AutoResponder in cPanel, you can use those tags under the "Body" section if you enable "This message contains HTML". The option is documented at: Autoresponders - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you.
