Transferring Email Filters
Is there a way to copy or export\import email filters from a email address to another email address.

Hello, You can restore your Email account filters from one cPanel account to another account using backup wizard function 0 -
Hello :) Filter rules are stored in the "/etc/vfilters" directory so you won't have access to them without root access to the server. You could use the "Backup Wizard" option to download all filters for the account, but you may want to have your hosting provider complete the task for you if it's just a one-time occurrence. Thank you. 0 -
My hosting supplier is Hostgator if that makes any difference. I saw the backup feature in cPanel but it appears from my testing that the backup of filters is for the "account level filters and I want the filters from individual email accounts. I am the admin for the domain. Please advise if I am able to backup the filter from an email account (and then I would like to restore those filters to another email account). Thanks for your help. 0 -
