Addon Domain, registered elsewhere, DNS not resolving
Dear All,
I have read many threads on this issue, and some has helped me to some degree.
I have a domain registered elsewhere (Alpha registrar), and I am using a server at GoDaddy (Hosting). Since GoDaddy does not allow using their shared DNS for domains registered elsewhere (confirmed by GoDaddy by email), hence, I used an (A) record to point to my server, while keeping Alpha Registrar DNS name servers to resolve to my IP.
Then, When, I tried to add that domain in cPanel, it did not allow me. I have read somewhere that going to WHM -> Tweak Settings > allow remote domains, will fix this problem.
Indeed, I changed that settings to (On), added that domain, then, changed the settings back to (Off). Now the domain is added to my cPanel.
Now, the domain is not working and is not resolving to my IP, and hence, does not reach my server.
The problem looks simple. It shows that the Alpha Registrar Does NOT resolve to my A record / IP address. However, I need some expert view on cPanel, Is there anything else I have to configure in cPanel? Anything is missing?
The strange part is that I have changed the MX records as well, and they did work. I receive emails, which means that the DNS is resolving the MX records correctly. It is only the A record. Very strange.
I appreciate any expert opinion.

Thanks cPanelMichael. I did create my own name servers, but for whatever reason, this created a mess up for my whole 100+ emails (fro various clients), so I sticked to GoDaddy ones. However, I will check the guide and come up with a smooth transition plan to minimize downtime. Thanks again. 0
