You might want to check with your Hosting Provider. cPanel doesn't include CloudFlare in its product that I'm aware of.

I am the "hosting provider" (server admin). <<< see the badge on the left, under my username stack? ;) All my installs of cPanel suddenly have CloudFlare on them. I did nothing.

Hey cool, me too! :) At the same time, cPanel doesn't bundle CloudFlare on your servers, or mine. You might check with your Data Center to see if they've partnered with CloudFlare or something. CloudFlare partners

Though not managed, the host installed cPanel. It was included, so I let them. The only thing I can fathom is that it was not properly setup, and some update in the latest cPanel triggered it to finally work. Yes, they are a partner.

I'd be interested to hear back what you find out from your Provider. Have you asked them about this yet?

Hello :) cPanel does not install the plugin automatically, but you should be able to uninstall it with a command such as:
    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/unregister_cpanelplugin /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/cloudflare.cpanelplugin
Check to verify the plugin name and it's correct path before running the command. Thank you.

Sorry for necromancing this thread, but there is an uninstall script provided by CloudFlare (as long as you've installed it from the same source): [CODE=bash]bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cloudflare/Cloudflare-CPanel/master/cloudflare.uninstall.sh) && rm -f cloudflare.uninstall.sh
