MySQL Broken After cPanel Automatic Upgrade
Hello, I have a dedicated server with WHM/cPanel and I've moved the MySQL folder due to space issues following this tutorial: [url=http://knowledgelayer.softlayer.com/learning/changing-mysql-data-directory-within-unix-environment]Changing the MySQL data directory within a Unix like environment | KnowledgeLayer
But when WHM/cPanel upgraded it just made a new directory of MySQL and all my sites becomes offline, I've got some hours to make it work and now cPanel/WHM wont upgrade beacause of space issuses, today I saw the message: "The last attempt to update cPanel & WHM was blocked. Details"
How can I prevent cPanel/WHM to make it happen keeping the my.cnf file and the MySQL folder untouched after the upgrade?
Thanks

Re: MySQL Broken After cPanel Aumatic Upgrade Hello Michael and thanks for your support. After the upgrade MySQL are running but with new databases at the default folder, that's the problem. I need to keep the moved folder after the upgrade or lots of sites will become offline until I repeat the steps. 0 -

To update, the user was able to move the MySQL data directory successfully this time and MySQL now starts successfully. Thank you. 0
