Is there a way to allow uploading but not deleting?

I have a folder setup on my webhosting. I want to create an ftp account for a user to allow them to add/upload to this specific folder only. I understand how to create and limit access to the folder when I create the FTP account, but is there a way to prohibit deleting? I don't want to have anything accidentally deleted, so I'd rather the user have to go through me to delete items in the folder. Would this be a folder setting or something I would need to configure on the FTP account for this user? I've been hosting for years, but never had to setup something like this before. Can't find a straight forward answer googling, so I'm probably not wording it correctly for the search engine! :o Thx! Zephyr
