Wildcard SSL on dedicated IP address failure
I have an IP address dedicated to one domain and have just installed a wildcard SSL certificate on the domain. I want to install it on the subdomains (whenever I tried to install it on *.domain.com, a warning told me not to). But when I try to install it on sub.domain.com, it gives me the error "The IP address "x.x.x.x.x" is not available, or you do not have permission to use it."
What could be causing that?
Apache/2.4.10 (Unix) OpenSSL
Multiple domains,
4 IP addresses
1 domain on this IP

Thanks, Michael. Last night my server auto-upgraded to the new build. I tried again to install and it worked. I don't know why it worked, but with build 4, it works so I'll just be grateful and say, "Thanks for your help!" 0 -
