Switch to MariadDB
Hi,
Has anyone switched to MariaDB for Shared hosting from MySQL 5.6?
Are there any major issues that could cause problems?
Any real benefits in changing?
Should I do it now or wait? :)

I'm about to do mine, just backing up cpanel accounts and server configuration files. I will post back, once done. 0 -
It worked fine, clients websites wont connect to the databases for like 15 seconds. Then they all came back to life. [mysql restarted successfully.[0m] MariaDB upgrade completed successfully Then run Easy-Apache after. 0 -
Might want to remember the upgrade to MariaDB will fail if you have CloudLinux MySQL govenor installed. 0 -

Will first do it in test environment a few times then see how it works. No issues though experienced? and is performance far better? 0 -
