Having a trouble connecting to the server using domain name

Hi, It would be great if someone could help me out here. I am new to cpanel/apache etc, I am in the process of moving an existing website to our new server. The previous hosting company also used cpanel so it made the job easy so far, used backup data etc and restored onto the new server. I can access the website on the new server externally by going ipaddress/~username but when I try to access the new server by using domain name, it throws /cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi page. The DNS is not changed yet but I edited my hosts file to force my pc to resolve to the new server, I assume I should be able to see the new server this way? I want to test first to make sure it will work before I switch the DNS record. When I connect to domainname/~username from my pc, it so shows the page properly. I searched the forum and apparently it is to do with Apache not handling the traffic properly? Currently natting all traffic hitting an external IP address to the new WHM/cpanel server (CentOS). I am not really sure where to look at, any help would be great.. Thanks,

  Hello :) It seems like an issue with your custom NAT configuration. Did you enable 1:1 NAT during the initial cPanel installation on this server? It's documented here: 1:1 NAT Thank you.

  Thanks for the quick response! Actually the problem was that the server was set to wrong public IP (had to change the IP after the install), reset the IP and rebuilt httpd.conf and all working now :) Thanks,
