Saving files does not work in Cpanel

I have an issue and tried to search around but did not get to solve this. If I go to Cpanel and make a change to a file (css file) and then Save, it does show that save is successful but actually when I open the file again, it has not been changed. It also does not save if I use FTP client. Strangely I downloaded a file, deleted the original file, made changes on my computer and uploaded again, and still file was the one as original! It is strange problem, I tried different things and did not get to solve, any idea what can be wrong.

  Sounds like a browser cache issue to me. Have you tried using another browser to rule that out?

  I had cleared all my chrome cache, I have also checked the same files in Firefox yesterday and problem was there. Now that you mentioned this, I tried again in Firefox and chrome and my ftp client and all seems working fine. I think as you rightly said it was some sort of cache issue. Thank you
