Look in your logs, for example check out /var/log/messages. Monitor the "top" script from the command line around 8.40 to see what process is causing problems. But if your looking for someone to do this work for you then do a google search for server admin.

Hey, I had this exact problem back in the days: occasionally a job ran and somehow it broke ipaliases for me. so the sites were unreachable until ive logged in and restarted the service. Its just a hunch but give it a try: You should monitor things and log in to a console at the estimated time of the issue and see what happens. of course first you should check cron and other schedulers to see what happens at that time. Backups for instance? they do hammer the disk io which might also cause issues like this. [Removed]

Hello :) Try reviewing /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log at the time your websites were not accessible to see if you notice any particular error messages. Thank you.
