php4+ dev area on a php5.4+ vps - possible?

I still do some work for older clients that are still running php4+ and at times i need to have a test/dev environment for php4+ can i partition a portion of my VPS 5.4+ setup and add another enviroment for php4+ or is that not possible. Is it possible to have both on the same vps? Thanks

  i got my answer, i have been told its posible but not advisable or practicle. I would be better to use wamp locally to do so.

  Hello :) Right, PHP 4 is no longer supported by cPanel or available through EasyApache. It's not advised to attempt a manual installation of it on your server. Thank you.
