    This is the content of my /etc/my.cnf file [mysqld] default-storage-engine=MyISAM innodb_file_per_table=1 max_allowed_packet=268435456 open_files_limit=10000 The MySQL Error logfile don't display any error when i try to connect with the socket and i can configure phpmyadmin to use the UNIX-Socket successfully

    Thread can be closed, the problem was the Cloudlinux Feature cagefs, which has no Mountpoint for the /var/lib/mysql directory, the following Thread helped my a lot
