cPHulk Comments Disappearing

I was putting the date into the comments field whenever I banned an IP address so that after a month I can delete the ban. The problem is that one time when the blacklist loaded, all the comments were gone. They don't seem to be held very long. Which means I need to go back to using a spreadsheet again. I love that there are comments now, but bummed that they don't seem to be saved very long. Is there something that I am doing wrong? or a setting that I missed that keeps the comments for a longer period of time?
