Hello :) The message you posted states: "You do not have any automatically generated backups that are currently available. Your server administrator or server owner must enable this feature." There's actually an internal case (#161409) open to address this issue. The resolution is included in cPanel version 11.48.0.12. Could you verify if this still happens after updating cPanel to 11.48.0.12? Thank you.

Hello, Have backups already generated at least once? If not, force a generation of backups via:
    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/backup --force
    Thank you.

This is still happening to me on 11.50.0.22. Not using legacy backups, backups are enabled for the user account I'm seeing this error on, dozens of backups have been generated since I enabled this.

Hello :) To confirm, does this happen when only weekly backups are generated? Internal case number 174513 addresses an issue where when backups are run only weekly, no backups are available for download in users' cPanels under "Backups ->Account Backups", despite the fact that the weekly backups are present on the server. The resolution is scheduled for cPanel version 11.50.1. Thank you.

No, this is happening with daily backups enabled, although it is only scheduled for every other day. i.imgur.com/dEs7OZf.png

Could you let us know if the issue persists after your server updates to cPanel version 11.50.1.1 or newer? Note it's currently only available in the "Current" build tier. Thank you.

Solved this for my case. I'm uploading my backups to S3 however I didn't have this option set: Retain backups in the default backup directory. I think this means that the backups are deleted once they're uploaded to S3 and then CPanel thinks there are no available updates. Once I set the Retain backups option and performed a backup I was able to see the backups in CPanel.

It's not immediately obvious that uploading your backups offsite will make them unavailable for automated restore. Might I suggest an annotation on the backup configuration page? If remote uploads are enabled put some kind of indicator on the Retain backups setting that says backups will not be available in CPanel without this option set? Better yet, store the ID of the uploaded backups and allow restore from S3!

There's a document on this at: Remote Restoration - Documentation - cPanel Documentation There's also a feature request you may want to vote and add your feedback to: Restore from remote backups Thank you.
