Does apache username and group have to be "nobody"?

I'm just wondering if I can safely change the apache username and groupname without causing any WHM or Cpanel component to fail to load as a result on relying on the nobody username.

  I'm curious. What do you aim to accomplish by changing the Apache user and group? You can make the change, if you so desire. Doing so means we cannot support any problems that result. We don't test the product in any capacity for such changes.
