WHM Backup control

Hi, WHM backup allows you to setup both local and remote backups under Home " Backup " Backup Configuration You can also setup how many backups to retain. This appears to effect both the local and remote backups. Is there any way to - for example - only keep the most recent backups locally but to keep more of them on the remote storage? Thanks
