unable to execute cgi remotely

I am having this problem with an app that I am working on, that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. this is my server, but i dont know much about linux servers, so i have a guy that helps me, he says that he is able to execute the script manually, but for some reason, when the app tries to run the script, it sends back this error status:error | error:NetworkError: Failed to execute 'send' on 'XMLHttpRequest': Failed to load 'http://myurlhere.com/cgi-bin/getvcard.cgi?wclause=TomCampbell&_=1425180692850 like i said it just started doing this randomly, anyone know how to fix it?
