SSH restart failed.

Dear Sir~ I have two servers. Those ssh can not connect so I restart SSHD in WHM than I got some failed messages... =========================== Waiting for "sshd" to restart "waiting for "sshd" to initialize "" "finished. Service Status sshd (/usr/sbin/sshd) is running as root with PID 17841 (pidfile check method). The service "sshd" failed to send the expected response to host "127.0.0.1" and port "22" because an error: sshd: [ != SSH] Startup Log Starting sshd: [ OK ] Log Messages Mar 3 10:15:48 s167 sshd[17847]: refused connect from 127.0.0.1 (127.0.0.1) Mar 3 10:15:47 s167 sshd[17841]: Server listening on 0.0.0.0 port 22. Mar 3 10:15:47 s167 sshd[16621]: Received signal 15; terminating. Mar 3 10:10:10 s167 sshd[16737]: refused connect from 114.33.182.245 (114.33.182.245) Mar 3 10:09:49 s167 sshd[16631]: refused connect from 127.0.0.1 (127.0.0.1) sshd has failed. Please contact your system administrator if the service does not automagically recover. ========================== Please help me how to fix it. :confused:

  What's happen?! More servers SSH failed...

  Check here to see if SSH is actually up or not: Home " Server Status " Service Status Restarting SSH from within WHM like that, can be deceiving, IMHO. The message you posted above, can be seen here on my end when I restart SSH from WHM as well.

  I had the same problem, Home "Server Status" Service Status does not help. Then I decided to check hostaccesscontrol. And the miracle) previously blocked access to all IP and for the server ip 127.0.0.1, service did not want to restart the local ip while I have not added to the approved list 127.0.0.1 in Home "Security Center "Host Access Control.
