Right way to change SpamAssasin rule score

Hello we need to change score for any rules of SpamAssasin We have read this:

  Hello :) You can add custom rules to the following file:
  /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf
  Remember to execute the /scripts/restartsrv_spamd command to restart SpamAssassin. This action saves your changes to the file. Thank you. Edit: This action is no longer supported as of cPanel version 54:
