Mono - 100% CPU

We have a problem with our main cPanel Server, when it does the cPanel update in the middle of the night and once the update finishes we find that occasionally mono is running the CPU at 100% when we kill mono, the CPU drops to normal CPU Load. our cPanel server is running on a OpenVZ VPS with 8GB ram and 6 cores. Does anyone have any idea's ? Matt Systems Administrator

  Hello :) You may want to review the domain access logs for the websites that utilize Mod_Mono to see if there's more activity during that time of the night. Please also keep in mind the version of mod_mono that cPanel provides has been deprecated. We strongly discourage its use unless absolutely necessary. Thank you.

  Michael, We have looked into this and it appears none of our customers require mod mono and therefore we will be disabling it Thanks for your Support Matt Systems Administrator - RackU
