Courier IMAP timeout when sending.
I hope this is the correct forum for this - if not my apologies.
I'm using Courier as my mail server, and trying to setup some mailboxes. I can received email on all of them (SSL) no problem, but I can't send anything from any account. I've tried SSL/No SSL, on port 25. I can resolve the mail server, but I get "an operation on the server timed out" - Error code 3259 (SMTP server timed out). I've tried both POP and IMAP, and both server types can receive mail, but not send.
I don't see anything in /var/log/maillog that looks like an error, but honestly I'm not sure what I should be looking for. I've rebuilt courier, and even tried switching to Dovecot but no dice.
Any insight would really be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, Do you experience the same result when sending email through a webmail application? If so, check to ensure there are no firewall rules on your server blocking traffic to/from port 25. Thank you. 0 -
I actually sorted this out - thanks for the reply all the same! :) I had "EXIM on another port" configured in CSF, set to 26. Hopefully this helps someone else out that may find this thread in a search. Cheers! 0 -
