Hello, Your services (e.g. Apache, Exim, MySQL) remain installed and functional, but you will lose access to the cPanel/WHM interfaces. We also won't be able to troubleshoot any issues you encounter with those services after the license expires. Thank you.

Does losing access to cPanel/WHM interfaces also mean the sites in there will be down? or are they still going to be up and live, only the whm/cpanel backend will be inaccessible?

That question is answered for you, just above. Your site will still work, but you won't be able to work on it, or touch it at all from the cPanel end of things.

And you will be exposed to new bugs and vulnerabilities that are fixed in updates.

So when the Cpanel license expires, aside from updates and access to WHM/Cpanel, does anything else break? I assume not and you could administrate the server from the command line going forward?

Hi, If your cPanel license expire then you will not able to access WHM/cPanel as well as not able to access mail account through webmail.

I believe also, automatic package security updates would be disabled too? What about tailwatchd and checksrvd which monitor and restart services and send email alert notifications including low free diskspace, high CPU/memory utilitization etc etc etc. Do these monitors and notification functions also stop when the license has expired?

The server will not receive any more updates from cPanel, although it will continue to function.
