Issues migrating from Plesk

Hello, Attempting to use the Transfer Tool within the cPanel gui gives me an sql error 1045 i believe, related to root missing (because plesk changes it to admin)... I attempted to edit /root/.my.cnf to below.... [client] user=admin pass='password in here' and try again then i get this error.... MySQL error: Warning: Using unique option prefix pass instead of password is deprecated and will be removed in a future release. Please use the full name instead. at /tmp/.perl-ppk-ATHrmx/lib/Cpanel/Foreign/Plesk/DB.pm line 117. ----- I then attempted to use the manual guide in this very forum section.... populated /etc/trueuserdomains, then i run pkgacct-pXa, and i get the same error above.. The problem is related to MYSQL root user missing, but im just not sure how to fix it...... :(
