Updating cUrl from 7.38.0 to 7.40.0 or 7.41.0

I want to thank you in advance for your input and assistance. I need to know how to update my cUrl file. I have already updated my cPanel and that did not help. This is what I have for my system: Centos 6.6 Linus x86_64 cPanel 11.48.2 (build 1) Apache build 2.4.12 PHP build 5.4.38 MySQL 5.5.42-cll It is on a VPS server. Any input and advice is very much appreciated! Thank you! :)
