Accidently uploaded home directory backup
Hey,
I uploaded a full home directory backup when I should have just been uploading a backup for a site, it has uploaded everything from that site and now my main site is redirecting to the restored backup.
I have deleted the index.html (My main site is index.php), fixed .htaccess which was forwarding to the restored domain and deleted a number of _vti_ folders that were for the restored site.
I don't know what is redirecting to the restore now, my main site works 100% when I go to domain.com/index.php.
Anyone know what could be doing this?
Thanks!

Hello, Do you have any recent full backups of the account that you can restore, so you can then restore the correct backup file to the account? Thank you. 0 -
Hey, Thanks for the reply. I do have a backup from around 1 week ago but to be honest I have been working on the sites a lot, I was just doing a full backup after I finished up a few things, including moving that site from another server.. I thought I would get those done first as my backup is pretty big, wrong choice! If I could just find out what files have been changed to redirect the root to RestoredSite.com that would be great. Thanks again 0 -

Hey Michael, Thanks again for the reply. Just logged in to submit a ticket but this is on a shared server, I don't have WHM / A support access ID for the account. 0 -
Hey, Anyone know what could be causing this please? Thanks 0 -
I suggest contacting your web hosting provider for assistance so they can take a closer look and determine the cause of the issue. Thank you. 0
