Easy Apache Stuck on "update server is currently updating its files"

i know this has been an issue in the past for some people but i am now constantly getting this. and because of this: The update server is currently updating its files. It may take up to 30 minutes before access can be obtained. Waiting 30 seconds for access to the update server...... i can no longer use easy apache and it has been like this for a long time i have rebooted the sever several times & i have updated Cpanel hoping it would help.. and i cannot see easy apache process running anywhere. is there a specific log file i should look for where all update messages are stored on why it stuck on this message? please help this is very important to me and i am unsure what to do? it has been like this since the 24th Of March, today is the 25th. EDIT: issue is now resolved.. it finally got unstuck.. but for future issues like this what log file should i look at? and any commands i can use to troubleshoot? like is there an easy apache update process shutdown command?

  Hi, As the message stated, we were updating EasyApache. It can take up to 30 minutes to do so.
