Problem with manually configured outgoing SMTP server selection
Hello!
I' m trying to configure the outgoing SMTP server selection (using method "How to manually configure Exim's outgoing IP addresses" according the documentation), but all the time for outgoing IP is selected the hostname.domain3.com (I'm verifying this on received email header)
I have account with domain name domain1.com and addon domain with domain name domain2.com.
My configuration files looks:
/etc/mailhelo
domain1.com: domain1.com
domain2.domain1.com: domain1.com
*: hostname.domain3.com
/etc/mailips domain1.com: x.x.x.1 domain2.domain1.com: x.x.x.2 *: x.x.x.3
/etc/mail_reverse_dns domain1.com: x.x.x.1 #tested the following line too: #domain2.domain1.com: x.x.x.2 domain2.com: x.x.x.2
Additional information: [LIST]Used OS: Centos;
SMTP configuration: Smarthost for SMTP delivery;
At the moment MX does for domain1.com is not pointed to the Cpanel server (only addon domain domain2.com is pointed to Cpanel server);
Easy FIX your SMTP banner, SMTP greeting and Reverse DNS for Dedicated IPs is applied.
Where can be issue?
Thanks!
/etc/mailips domain1.com: x.x.x.1 domain2.domain1.com: x.x.x.2 *: x.x.x.3
/etc/mail_reverse_dns domain1.com: x.x.x.1 #tested the following line too: #domain2.domain1.com: x.x.x.2 domain2.com: x.x.x.2
