Cannot Send Email to Multiple Free Email Providers

Hi, Myself and other accounts on my server cannot send mail to outlook.com, hotmail and live.com accounts, the emails just do not get delivered and they do not get returned, does anyone have any experience with this who can shed some light on this, I have no idea and my server technician has no idea. Thanks in advance

    Hello, Can you check if your mailing IP is blocked by any spamdbs ? Usually hotmail policies are very strict to block mails from IPs blacklisted. Sites like mxtoolbox will help to find if your IP is blacklisted or not.

    Hi, We have checked and the IP's seem to be clean other than SpamRats which I am told is nothing to worry about. SpamRats seems to have listed all our IP's, wierd as some are not used.

    In addition to triantech's post, you can find this log in /var/log. I personally prefer to view the file with less or nano. :)

    My experience was that when I first set up my vps, before I understood the strict requirements hotmail et al have, I sent an email to a client and it was bounced back. The second message had an attachment and it never bounced back. The way their bounces are worded, you don't know if it's your ip or the address your ISP assigns you, so you just wind up getting in deeper trying to figure it out. I guess that was enough to get me on their private blacklist. The ip was fresh with no blacklisting anywhere and over a year later it's still blacklisted by them. I had to subscribe to their Smart Network Data Services to find this out, it's the only way to find they have blacklisted you that I know of. I signed the contract with them after subscribing to the JMRP, yet I'm still blocked. That includes setting up abuse and postmaster email for a loopback, giving them address and phone number etc. They suggest you join Return Path to establish trust, it's 200 to apply and 444 a year for a business account. No breaks for a small guy who's really trying hard to follow the rules. I've turned off php mail and I manage all the sites on the server, don't run ftp, use ZBBlock and Modsec. It's very disheartening. I'm lucky the clients I have don't use the server for email, but I have one now and I've gotten them to sign up for the email service at the registrar which is very reasonable, about 26$ a year for 5 accounts.     When I run a report I get this error. I have asked the server guy to look into this. Error from delivery reporter: DBD::mysql::db selectall_arrayref failed: Table './eximstats/smtp' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

    Hi, I read this, how will I know where this setting is? Are you running Anti-Virus software? Some of the deliverability issues are the result of sender-based software configurations. If you are running anti-virus software on your firewall or SMTP server, check for the setting "Internet Email Auto Protect" or "Internet Email Protection." If this setting is enabled, disable it and try sending a test message to our servers again. If you are currently running Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 9.x or 10.x on your server, please review this article from Symantec Support.

    Something like that would be on your home computer, not your server.

    OK...that does not help then as the issue is server related and I cannot really ask all my users to do this..

    Hi, I have not heard from him, he is quote slow when getting back to me..I just need to wait and I am not sure how to do that stuff. I am a designer not a server guru at all.

    HI Infopro, Do you know anyone who is a total guru with cPanel who may be interested in looking at my server to make sure that all settings are in place. These emails that are just not being delivered is causing a major issue and I really need to get it resolved as soon as possible. Many Thanks

    From within your WHM, right hand corner is a small life preserver icon. Click that and select, Contact cPanel. :)
