Blocking Entire domains .work, .click, .science, .eu
I'm new to C-panel and clearly I'm not blocking correctly.
I tried "ends with" .work, .click, and .science, .eu
I tried "equals and contains: .work, .click, .science, .eu
And the emails have been blocked but so has my main client's email address which is
Work______.Com and my science e-magazines: for example: ScienceForce.com
And any other email with "EU" in it for example: MEurope@____.
So clearly the "." dot is not relevant for "exact match".
I'm not a programmer. I can't figure out and don't want to put in elaborate strings or code.
I just want to be able to completely block emails from these domains:
.work, .click, .science, .eu (and I'm sure others will follow) from my website without blocking legitimate emails.
Please advise with a user-friendly, easy, way to do this for a novice just tying to keep my spam down form 550+ per day to real email.
THANK YOU in advance.

Hey all, I am using cPanel through Arvixe, my hosting company. I am running into the same issues as Angela above. I have tried the Global Email Filter using a wildcard, but it still doesn't seem to work. The rule is written as such... From equals *@*.work Delivers to Folder /domain.net/postmaster And it doesn't work. All emails from "@example.work" keep coming through. Is there an issue on Arvixe where wildcards won't work. Is there something else I can try? What are the limitations from Arvixe's implementation? Thanks 0 -

You can review the post from my last response for examples of the types of entries you can use. The referenced thread is for a global Exim filter, but you can still get an idea of what type of rules to implement through cPanel for your specific account. Thank you.0 -
Hey, It seems like the above advice is about adding code to root files, not about using the Cpanel interface, which is what I'm trying to do as well. If you are using account level filtering, I don't know if wildcards work, I've got a question in with support on that. I do know that periods (.) are ignored. I have the most luck using "Any Heading" "Contains" and then put what you want. However, if you put .work, the period is ignored, so in this case you may need something else. Maybe "From" "Contains" "work". Are yo using account level filtering? Paul Hey all, I am using cPanel through Arvixe, my hosting company. I am running into the same issues as Angela above.
