Send notification email via SMTP instead of mail() function.

I have disabled the function mail (), how to configure the system to use SMTP to send system email (to root@hostname, for example) instead of mail () function (can not send anymore).

  Hello, Could you elaborate on how you disabled the mail function? Are you sure it's blocking WHM notifications (e.g. do you notice errors in /var/log/exim_mainlog)? Thank you.
