reseller can restore own users full backup ?

Hello : Is it possible add reseller permission to restore own customer fullbackup over WHM ? Regards

  The option is only available if "all" privileges are given to the reseller in question. This can be set within WHM -> Reseller Center -> Edit Privileges for the reseller. Giving such privileges for a user is not recommended. From what I see there is already a feature request for this: here. You can alternatively use the "restore" option within the "Backups" module in cPanel. However it is a bit limited and you will only be able to perform restore if you have a backup copy of the content on your computer.

  Because this feature has not implement for years and most solutions are complicated or named "reseller" (actually reseller system can be used with cloudlinux for semi-dedicated accounts) we have developed an plugin for that purpose, the "WE BACKUP RESTORE" you can get a look here Backup Restore for cPanel/WHM Resellers

  Or look at JetBackup and you can turn on various restore options (whole account, files, databases etc.) and both the reseller and cpanel level. One caveat if you do enable full account restore. It will terminate the account and then perform the restore. That may or may not be what the client expects to happen.

  Currently there is no way to allow resellers to restore their own domain backups, except by allowing them ALL privileges. If resellers could manage their own backup restorations, it would ease the botheration of Root Admin

  Giving such privileges for a user is not recommended.

  
  However in Direct I hear It is possible to do that, shouldn't they be facing the face problem the reason you are not recommending this feature...

  For this reason, we don't allow clients to restore an entire cPanel account.
