IMAP internal network error with Outlook

Hi cPanel staff, How are you? I am experiencing an issue with a server that I hosted in my house with cPanel installed on CentOS.
    ]
  • Scenario: [LIST]
  • Program used:
    ]
      ]
    • Windows 7
    • Outlook 2010
[LIST]
  • Outlook's Setting:
      ]
        ]
      • 143 for IMAP no encryption
      • 25 for SMTP no encryption
    [LIST]
  • Windows 7 Setting
      ]
        ]
      • Windows 7's firewall is turned off
    [LIST]
  • Router's Setting
      ]
        ]
      • Port 21~80 are forwarded both on TCP/UDP
      • Port 110~140 are forwarded both on TCP/UDP
    [LIST]
  • When connecting outside of the same LAN with the server (via 3G/4G..etc)
      ]
        ]
      • Can receive email via IMAP
      • Can send email via SMTP
    [LIST]
  • When connecting on the same LAN with the server
      ]
        ]
      • Cannot receive email via IMAP, the connection is failed.
      • Can send email via SMTP
    Do you have any idea where I should start to look for problems?

      Hi, thank you for your promptly response, the exact error states as follows: Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for xxx@xxx.com.' reported error (0x800CCCC0E) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for xxx@xxx.com. Error: Cannot connect to the server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).' After days of browsing thru online, I found this solution.

      Hello, Have you considered disabling port forwarding on your home router to see if the issue persists? This is really a system administration task for your home computer/network as opposed to an issue with the cPanel server or configuration. Thank you.

      What does it mean by "spamd: connection from localhost" ?

      Hello, It's stating that your local server is connecting to the "spamd" service. Are you still experiencing these error messages? Thank you.
