DNS related hooks wont work/don't exist?

Currently I'm aiming to build some deployable hooks to integrate the DNS stuff in cPanel with Rackspace's Cloud DNS API. I've read through the documentation "

  As an update, I found out there is nothing for the actual WHM side. I ended up just writing a script that I run in a cronjob to sync zone data over to Rackspace Cloud DNS. If anyone else needs this, I've attached it to this comment. It's licensed under the MIT License.
