Hi :), This option looks promising to remotely transfer the Backup to Google drive. But not sure, how to configure the same. May be cPanel staff can help with this.

Hello, There are no native options that allow you to automatically backup accounts to Google Drive, but feel free to vote and add your input to the existing feature request for this at:

As an alternative to Google Drive, can we use Google Cloud Storage Nearline cloud.google.com/storage-nearline/ for CPanel backups?

Hello, You should open a separate feature request to support that form of cloud based storage unless it allows you to upload data via standard methods (e.g. FTP, SFTP). Thank you.

Google Cloud Storage Nearline supports the use of the S3 API. It should be as simple as allowing users to modify the settings for the S3 endpoint.

Finally, as I need to backup my server accounts in a cloud, I have decided to use Amazon S3. It works fine and it seems CPanel has some kind of agreement with them. Otherwise they would give us a positive answer regarding Google Drive implementation in WHM. Thank you... for nothing.

Hello, There are several third-party backup solutions, but unfortunately we don't offer native support for all of them in the WHM backup interface. There's basic support for custom destinations as documented at:
