Zone templates questions

Hi! I just installed whm / cpanel on my new server. After the initial config, I was going through the hosting accounts for my already existing clients that I wanted to import and some of them use Gmail for business for their emails. I went through the functionalities available for me to make that easy and I saw Zone templates. That would be perfect! I created a custom zone template that would allow me to configure the MX recoreds to send emails to the OpenSRS hosted emails service (my other most used setup) and another one for Gmail. I dropped them in the folder and they do appear in the list of templates (with "User defined template" mentioned beside). But now... what do I do with them? Everytime I create a new account, I can't change the zone template that will be used. The only one that gets used is standardvirtualftp". I could simply modify this one for my most used setup, but what's the point to have the zone template functionality if we can't select the one that we want upon account creation? Am I missing something? Thanks!

  Hello, Zone templates are not selectable on a per-account basis or as an option during account creation. It's designed to utilize the same zone template for all accounts that are created: simple - Domains with an A entry only standard - Domains on a dedicated IP address, parked domains, and addon domains standardvirtualftp - Domains on a shared IP address

  Hello, Zone templates are not selectable on a per-account basis or as an option during account creation. It's designed to utilize the same zone template for all accounts that are created: Feel free to open a feature request if you want to see additional functionality for zone templates: Submit A Feature Request Thank you.

  
  Thanks For the answer. Where/how is it possible to choose which one is used by default?

  Hello, You configure the zone templates via: "WHM Home " DNS Functions " Edit Zone Templates" The one that is used is determined by my quote in my previous post. Thank you.
