Amazon s3 backups rentention

I have the opposite problem. I *want* my backups *not* to delete from Amazon S3, but they are, and I can't work out why. My scheduling and retention policy is: Backup every day of the week, retain 7 days Backup weekly, retain 1 week Backup monthly, retain 1 month ... but looking at the corresponding S3 bucket for the daily backups, it's currently only retaining 3 days. Initially I thought it might be because Versioning wasn't enabled. So I enabled it a few days ago, but hasn't made a different. There are no Lifecycle rules in place. Logging is enabled, but I'm not sure how to search these (can't see helpful tools inside S3 to do this?), and not sure what I'm looking for. Some evidence/reason why it's deleting backups older than 4 days, I guess?? Any ideas anyone? Thanks, Ross

  Hello, Please post the output from the following command:
  grep BACKUP_DAILY_RETENTION /var/cpanel/backups/config

  I have the same setting and having the same issue. The output of the above command is: BACKUP_DAILY_RETENTION: 7
