Speed up dovecot performance

Hi guys, Whats the best tweaks etc used to speed up dovecot? Can these be done and is fsync already disabled in default install of cPanel?

Hello, You should not have to manually update the Dovecot configuration for performance, so we don't publish any optimization guides for Dovecot. Could you elaborate on the specific performance issues you are experiencing with it? Thank you.

No issues just want to optimize it very well and improve on what we have already :) What dovecot settingsin cpanel do you think will be good for say 2000 mailboxes? I'm going insane here but lets say we have 2000 mailboxes connecting every 1 minutes. Current settings are: Maximum Number of Mail Processes: 1500 Maximum Size of a Mail Process (MB): 256 Maximum IMAP Connections Per IP Address: 50 Interval between IMAP IDLE "OK Still here" messages: 24 Maximum POP3 Connections per IP Address: 50 Number of Spare Authentication Processes: 20 Maximum Number of Authentication Processes: 1024 Maximum Size of a Authentication Process (MB): 128 Size of Authentication Cache (KB): 1024 Time to Cache Successful Logins: 3600 Time to Cache Failed Logins: 3600 Idle Check Interval: 30

Hello, I don't see a need to make any changes unless you start to experience issues with customers failing to authenticate due to a lack of authentication processes. Thank you.
