Upgrade cloudlinux 6 to cloudlinux 7

Hi, I am having a cpanel centos 6 server having cloud linux 6. I would like to upgrade the server to cloudlinux 7. Is it possible ? I have gone through cloudlinux forums as per their updates Cloudlinux does not support upgrading from CL6 to CL7. They recommends fresh install in centos 7. As per cloudlinux updates centos 7 + cloudlunux 7 is the best choice. Cpanel servers does not officially support upgrading from CL6 to CL7. Is this correct ? This means for a prod server, it is impossible ? Anybody tried this upgrade ?

  Hello, Yes, this is correct. You will need a fresh installation of CentOS 7, at which point you can install Cloud Linux and cPanel, and then migrate the accounts or restore them from backups. Note that CentOS/RHEL are only supported in cPanel version 11.50. Edit: Cloud Linux 7 is not supported on 11.50 at this time, but please vote and add your feedback to the feature request for it at:
