Changed SSH Port Incorrectly
Jeff, you can be the guy who will help me!
check this out PLEASE!!! ( My problem with the sshd_config ) is really serious!...
# PROBLEM...
i have change the sshd_config of my root SSH to modify the PORT 22, to another,
give me more protection with different port ( i stupid idea of mine ).
I ( stupid ) put the Port : 231991
Now i cant anymore log in with my ROOT access to SSH or FTP to
change the sshd_config and put back the Port : 22 or the 2200 UP ( but not with 6 numbers ).
I try to make all things,
access with ssh put the port 231991 but says "bad port" or "no required",
the FTP dont allow me access with port ( 21, 22 and anothers ports the my firewall are allowing ), i try put the Port : 231991 into the firewall csf but get some error, so i remove.
Please guys! Help me, how i cant fix it, to get the sshd_config back with the native configure Port : 22 or some way that i cant edit the file ou send the file into my ROOT access FTP.
You can help-me?

Hello, You may want to try running a temporary instance of SSH to see if it allows you to access your server to investigate: https://IP:2087/cpsess12345678/scripts2/doautofixer?autofix=safesshrestart
You would replace "IP" with the server's IP address and the session number with what's displayed in your address bar. Note that this is simply a temporary instance of SSH so you can login and determine what's wrong with the standard SSH service. Then, use the following guide to update your SSH configuration: SSH Hardening Guide Thank you.0 -
