Permanent 301 redirect not working
Hi all, I must be doing something wrong somewhere, please can you help.
I currently have the following urls www.domain.co.uk and blog.domain.co.uk being redirected to www.domain.co.uk.
At the moment, content urls for blog.domain.co.uk are being redirected to there new counterparts on www.domain.co.uk.
However content urls for www.domain.co.uk are being sent to the site 404 page because the content no longer exists. What I want is all old urls like www.domain.co.uk/alcatel-ot710.html to 301 redirect to www.domain.co.uk.
I've set this up in Cpanel, but over 1 hour after doing so the link still goes to a 404 page.

Hello, Could you post the contents of your .htaccess files (within public_html and the subdirectory)? Ensure you replace actual domain names with examples. Thank you. 0
