DNS-Only and FTP

I am bumping this thread to know if a method exists to avoid Cpanel DNS-Only removes the pure-ftp install on update?

  Hello, It's advised to install cPanel and cPanel DNS-Only on a fresh OS. You can manually install the FTP package through YUM after completing the DNS-Only installation. Thank you.

  Thank you Michael but my point was that Cpanel DNS-Only removes the pure-ftp install when it updates. Which is really boring.

  To clarify, FTP is removed during the nightly cPanel update process, or after the installation itself? Thank you.

  I have several DNS-only, but it got never removed, your sure? Otherwise chattr +/- is your best friend ;-)
