    Hello, cPanel licenses are IP-based. You can update the IP address for the license by contacting the provider you purchased the license from, or if you purchased it through cPanel directly, you can open a ticket with our customer support team to request an IP change for your license. Thank you.

    Hi, Just in case we have to move hosting providers I would like to make sure I have our cpanel key. How can I find iit via WHM or shell? Thanks

    Your access level states that you are a "Reseller Owner". I assume you do not have full root access to the server? If that's the case, if you moved to your own server, you would have to purchase a license yourself. Then, cPanelMichael's suggestion above would be valid. If you move to another company as a reseller, it is their responsibility to ensure that a license is purchased if they are using cPanel.

    Thanks guys. I do have root access. It is my server. Is the license key stored somewhere on the server?
