Transferring data to new server

Hi, I have a server and I'm about to purchase a new server. I want to use Cpanel to migrate/transfer the old servers data to new server. Di everything be the same if I transfer the data? Does my chmod/permissions, scripts, wordpress and files stay intact?

  Assuming that both servers have same configuration, every thing moves intact, as at the time of transfer

  Hello, That is correct. You should use the Transfer Tool to migrate your accounts over. Both servers should be running the same versions of Apache, MySQL, and PHP (and also the same PHP Handler).

  In addition to all of the above posts, the transfer tool will generate a log file for each transfer that you can view directly in WHM. Make sure you review these to make sure everything moved properly. It should flag any errors.
