MySQL remote whitelisting server-wide
We have a need to enable (open up) remote connections to a certain list of IP addresses to all domains on a particular cPanel server. In the past, we've does this under each cPanel account individually. However, the third party that we need to give access to frequently adds new IPs.
We're notified of these IP addresses, but it's a major chore to login to each and every account on the server to add new IP addresses. Is there some way we can allow a list of remote IP addresses server-wide so we don't have to do this on a per-account basis? It would save a ridiculous amount of time administering this server.

Hello, You can use: "WHM Home " SQL Services " Additional MySQL Access Hosts" Per our documentation: This interface allows you to permit remote hosts (servers) to access MySQL" databases on your server, or to access a remote MySQL server that you configured via WHM's Setup Remote MySQL Server interface(Home >> SQL Services >> Setup Remote MySQL Server). The system applies this list of servers to every cPanel user and every MySQL user that a cPanel user owns. Thank you. 0 -
