Apache weird load

Apache began to spawn a lot of children.     netstat -pan|grep :80|awk {'print $5'}|cut -d: -f 1|sort|uniq -c|sort -n |tail -1 503 203.170.87.121 203.170.87.121 - it is my own IP! I dont beleive that blocking my own IP will solve the issue

    Hello, Have you tried installing a firewall such as CSF to help block these types of requests automatically? You may want to consult with a qualified system administrator if the load continues to reduce the performance of your website. Thank you.
