Should I upgrade to CentOS v7.0? (running v6.6)

Hey guys! I have a question. I've been looking at Google for answers, these answers have been posted at least one year ago, so I have to ask it by myself. Is there a necessity to upgrade from CentOS v6.6 to v7.0? Thanks!

  Hello, It's not required, and cPanel only recently started supporting CentOS 7 in cPanel version 11.50 (only available on the Edge build tier at this time):
