SpamAssassin 3.4.1 was released on 4-30-2015 From the Apache SpamAsassin Site: 2015-04-30: SpamAssassin 3.4.1 has been released! Highlights include: [LIST]

improved automation to help combat spammers that are abusing new top level domains;

tweaks to the SPF support to block more spoofed emails;

increased character set normalization to make rules easier to develop and stop spammers from using alternate character sets to bypass tests;

continued refinement to the native IPv6 support; and

improved Bayesian classification with better debugging and attachment hashing. Please consider voting for this feature request [to have cPanel update the SpamAssassin version]:

  Hello, Thank you for taking the time to submit a feature request. I don't have any information to provide on the potential implementation of SpamAssassin 3.4.1 at this time, but I'll update this thread with more information as it becomes available. Thank you.

  Actually, another person submitted the feature request a couple of weeks ago. I'm just posting here with the hope that people will read this thread, will go to the feature request page, and like the request [in essence nagging cPanel to get SpamAssassin updated]. SpamAssassin 3.4.1 is no miracle pill by any stretch. But it is important because it will allow updating of the top level domains that SpamAssassin knows about via the sa-update cron that occurs. And we all know the spammers love all of the silly new TLDs. Mike
